Frequently Asked Questions

What's the dress code for the wedding?

The wedding dress code is semiformal.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive no later than 2:45pm on Saturday so that you can get a program, sign the guestbook and find your seat before we start promptly at 3pm.

Should I bring a gift to the wedding?

Please don't feel you need to bring a gift. If you would like to, you can check out our registry on Zola. If you do this, please select a shipping option rather than bring a physical gift to Grand Rapids as we don't have a great way of transporting gifts home.

What should I share about my food allergies or dietary requirements?

Please indicate in your RSVP (above) any food allergies or dietary requirements. We will share this information with the catering teams so they can prepare food accordingly.

I'm immunocompromised and/or following strict COVID-19 precautions. What should I expect?

We want all of our loved ones to be with us on our wedding, which we know is made more challenging by Covid three years on. As of June 2023, we don’t anticipate the majority of our guests to be masked, but you are welcome to wear a face mask. Most wedding events are taking place inside, including the meals.  We encourage all our guests to remain up-to-date on their vaccinations, make use of rapid tests, and ask that anyone not feeling well stay home from the event even if they test negative.

Is Duncan coming to the wedding?

He considered it, but sends his regrets. He will be attending a family reunion in Rhode Island during wedding week, catching up with his corgi parents and grandmother before rejoining Gabrielle and his new human father. #DuncanGetsADad
